Taking a stand against the obvious and growing disparity between those that have and those that have not, American heavy metallers Incite release a new video for ‘Resistance’ ahead of their 2019 full length ‘Built to Destroy’ on Friday the 25th. Produced by Steve Evetts of The Dillinger Escape Plan and Suicide Silence fame, ‘Built To Destroy’ is set to be a visceral, frank, urgent and ferocious explosion of modern metal sensibilities with a more matured sound and a message that will not be ignored.
Teaming up with Tommy Jones of Videohammer Studios the man responsible for some of your favorite music videos from the likes of Slayer, Testament and Lamb of God, Incite’s latest visualization takes to the streets to hold up a mirror to American economic inequality by juxtaposing images of desperate depravity with images of over-the-top opulence.
In speaking of the new video, front man Richie Cavalera commented that ‘‘Resistance’ touches upon the huge problem of wealth inequality in America, as well as the rest of the world. When the 1% has more than billions of people, shit has become out of control. We shot this video at Skid Row in Los Angeles, which I think shows first-hand how absolutely fucked up the problem is. This is a heavy song, along with a video that hopefully opens some eyes.’
